Hinckley, Leicestershire, sitting squarely within the UK’s logistics 'Golden Triangle', faces an unprecedented demand for skilled supply chain professionals. According to recent ONS (Office for National Statistics) Business Register and Employment Survey (BRES) data, the transport, logistics, and warehousing sector accounts for over 14% of total local employment in the Hinckley and Bosworth district—nearly triple the Great Britain national average of 5.1%. At the operational heart of this high-volume platform lies the Inventory Planner.
Because Hinckley’s strategic logistics hubs—including Dodwells Bridge Industrial Estate, Sketchley Meadows, and nearby Magna Park—are constantly scaling, competition for inventory and stock planning talent has reached a fever pitch. Traditional recruitment agencies have seized on this local shortage to enforce aggressive 15% to 25% contingency fees. Under this legacy model, hiring an Inventory Planner with an average local salary of £35,000 results in an extortionate agency invoice of £7,000. This is no longer sustainable. It is an arbitrary tax on your operational efficiency.
VacanCV breaks this outdated paradigm. By replacing commissions with our proprietary recruitment process, we deliver elite-tier candidates for a flat, transparent fee of £795. This represents a direct saving of £6,205 per hire—an 88.6% cost reduction without compromising on candidate quality. Our model does not rely on passive job board postings. Instead, we run a total market saturation process that actively targets, qualifies, and engages the top 15% of supply chain and stock control talent within a 20-mile radius of Hinckley.
We do not wait for candidates to apply. Our multi-channel sourcing engine systematically extracts data from premium professional networks, industry registries, and localized talent pools. We target professionals with proven expertise in:
Every candidate submitted to your hiring manager has been thoroughly pre-vetted against your specific technical stack and cultural requirements. We present a clean, high-intent shortlist within 14 business days, allowing you to bypass the administrative lag of traditional agencies.
The math is undeniable. For businesses operating distribution centers or manufacturing plants along the M69 corridor, recruitment spend is a major variable cost. By capping your acquisition expense at £795, your business can reinvest those savings directly into operational efficiency or competitive salaries to attract even better talent. Whether you are scaling your demand planning team for seasonal peaks or filling a critical vacancy left by attrition, our process guarantees absolute transparency, speed, and cost efficiency.
