Access 100% of active and passive qualified Financial Controllers (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) across Uppingham, Oakham, and the Rutland region.

For too long, businesses in Uppingham, Oakham, and the wider Rutland area have been held hostage by a legacy recruitment model. Traditional agencies charge astronomical finder's fees based on a percentage of the candidate's starting salary. For a senior role like a Financial Controller, this archaic pricing structure penalizes your growth. When you pay more to secure top-tier talent, your recruiter receives a larger payday. This misalignment of incentives ends today.
We engineered VacanCV to disrupt this outdated paradigm. By replacing the variable percentage fee with a precise, flat-fee structure of just £795, we put control back into the hands of hiring managers, business owners, and CFOs across Uppingham. We don't shortcut the process; we streamline it using advanced recruitment technology, programmatic job distribution, and targeted headhunting processes to deliver the same elite-tier candidates at a fraction of the cost.
According to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) and local East Midlands regional economic indicators, the average salary for a qualified Financial Controller in Uppingham, Rutland, ranges between £65,000 and £85,000 depending on experience and corporate scale. In specialized sectors such as manufacturing, education, and professional services—which dominate the Rutland landscape—this figure can lean toward the higher end of the spectrum.
Let's look at the cold, hard mathematics of hiring at this level:
By opting for our precision recruitment process, you retain over £14,000 of your company’s capital. That is capital that can be reinvested into operational growth, capital expenditure, or upgrading your systems. Paying a recruiter five figures to post on the same job boards and search the same networks we access is no longer a defensible business strategy.
We do not simply collect CVs. We execute a targeted acquisition campaign that thoroughly saturates the local market within a 25-mile radius of Uppingham (covering Corby, Leicester, Stamford, and Peterborough). Our multi-channel approach guarantees your vacancy is placed directly in front of qualified professionals possessing the specific credentials your organization demands—whether that is ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or specific experience with ERP systems like SAP, Sage 200, or NetSuite.
Our process is rapid, systematic, and transparent:
Uppingham's unique position as a historic market town with a diverse economy of independent schools, manufacturing hubs, agricultural enterprises, and expanding service sectors requires a localized approach to recruitment. Finance professionals in Rutland often value different lifestyle and professional factors than those in major metropolitan hubs like London or Birmingham. Our recruitment campaigns are tailored to highlight the specific benefits of working within the Rutland region, capturing local candidates who are seeking to reduce their commute or join a dynamic local business where they can make a tangible impact.
Do not let traditional agencies convince you that a premium fee equates to premium talent. The talent pool is identical; the only variable is the efficiency of the delivery mechanism. With VacanCV, you gain access to the absolute top tier of Financial Controllers in Uppingham without the unjustifiable agency tax.
