Lincolnshire’s engineering sector is the backbone of the East Midlands economy. With deep roots in industrial manufacturing, power generation, and aerospace engineering, the demand for top-tier Engineering Managers (SOC Code 1121) is exceptionally high. However, according to the latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE), the average salary for an Engineering Manager in Lincoln, Lincolnshire stands at £72,500 per annum. Under a traditional contingent recruitment agency model charging a standard 20% fee, you are forced to pay a staggering £14,500 commission for a single placement.
We believe this legacy pricing structure is predatory and unsustainable for scaling businesses in LN1 through LN6. VacanCV’s Precision Saturation Process eliminates this tax on your business. By charging a flat fee of £795, we deliver identical, pre-screened talent while returning £13,705 in capital back to your operational budget. That is an immediate 94.5% cost reduction and an 18x improvement in recruitment ROI.
Traditional recruiters in Lincoln rely on the same databases you can access yourself, yet they charge premium premiums for sending a handful of CVs. The VacanCV system uses a hyper-localized programmatic approach to saturate the market, ensuring no candidate is missed:
Consider the hiring budget of a growing manufacturing firm in Lincoln. Hiring three Engineering Managers over a 12-month period would cost £43,500 in recruitment agency fees under the legacy system. With VacanCV, the total investment for three campaigns is only £2,385. This allows Lincoln businesses to reinvest more than £41,100 directly into R&D, capital machinery, or higher starting salaries to attract even better talent.
Our process is rapid and transparent. We do not hide candidates behind anonymized profiles to justify a margin. Within days of launching your Lincoln Engineering Manager campaign, qualified, pre-vetted CVs are delivered straight to your HR or hiring manager’s inbox, complete with direct contact details. You retain absolute control of the hiring pipeline.
In a tight labor market, speed and visibility are everything. Do not let outdated agency agreements drain your balance sheet. Secure the technical leadership your Lincoln-based facility deserves without the extortionate price tag. Start your campaign today and experience the future of professional technical recruitment.
