Smart AI Live NowThe Future of AI Recruitment
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and ASHE data, the median salary for an Engineering Manager in Leicester is £70,000, exposing employers to standard agency fees of £14,000 per hire.
Our disruptive £795 fixed-fee model delivers direct, un-intermediated access to active and passive engineering candidates across Leicestershire, yielding a 94.3% cost reduction.
Engineered specifically for Leicester's industrial, automotive, and manufacturing corridors, from LE1 inner-city tech hubs to Loughborough, Coalville, and Meridian Business Park.
Leicester and the wider Leicestershire region stand as crucial manufacturing hubs in the United Kingdom, housing dominant sectors ranging from automotive engineering and aerospace to high-tech manufacturing and distribution logistics. However, this high concentration of industrial activity has created an acute talent deficit. Based on the latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and regional economic surveys, vacancies for senior technical leaders—specifically Engineering Managers—have risen by 18% year-on-year in the East Midlands. This demand-to-supply mismatch has historically left local firms at the mercy of traditional recruitment agencies.
Standard recruitment agencies leverage this talent shortage to justify predatory fee structures. When local firms require an Engineering Manager to oversee production lines, design departments, or systems integration, they are routinely quoted standard percentage-based commissions ranging from 15% to 25%. Under these antiquated terms, a market-rate placement becomes an exorbitant capital drain rather than a strategic investment.
To understand the structural inefficiency of the legacy recruitment model, one must analyze the raw economics of a standard hire in Leicestershire. Let us examine the financial reality:
Legacy agencies argue that their high fees are justified by exclusive networks and intensive vetting processes. In reality, modern recruitment relies on standardized programmatic databases, search engine optimization, and direct digital outreach. The standard agency spends the same amount of effort sourcing a £30,000 technician as they do a £70,000 manager, yet they charge more than double the fee based purely on the candidate's salary. Our fixed-fee recruitment model eliminates this arbitrary tax, returning £13,205 directly to your operational budget.
Our localized talent acquisition strategy is optimized for the specific geographic and industrial realities of Leicestershire. We do not run broad, unfocused national campaigns that yield disengaged, non-local candidates. Instead, we target candidates residing within realistic commuting corridors of Leicester's major economic centers:
Positioned strategically near the M1 (Junction 21), this area requires managers skilled in high-velocity logistics automation, distribution systems, and complex facilities engineering.
Focusing on heavy manufacturing, material handling, and civil engineering leaders accustomed to demanding industrial operations.
Targeting highly specialized R&D, aerospace, and electromechanical engineering managers with strong ties to academic spin-offs and high-spec testing facilities.
We replace the slow, manual processes of old-school headhunting with a high-velocity digital sourcing engine. Within hours of activating your Leicester Engineering Manager campaign, our system executes a multi-channel market saturation process:
Systematic Database Scraping & Programmatic Ad Buying: Your role is broadcast across 100+ premium job boards, specialized engineering forums, and local aggregate sites, securing complete regional coverage.
Passive Candidate Targeting: We run precision algorithms to target passive Engineering Managers within a 30-mile radius of Leicester, presenting your opportunity directly to professionals who are not actively searching but are open to strategic moves.
Direct Applicant Transmission: Unlike agencies that filter and hide candidates to protect their proprietary control, we deliver complete, unmasked candidate profiles directly to your internal hiring managers. You retain complete ownership of the talent pipeline forever.
Continuing to pay percentage-based recruitment fees is a systemic failure of procurement. By transitioning to a direct fixed-fee model, you treat recruitment as a transparent, repeatable service rather than a high-premium luxury. For a flat fee of £795, you receive the same—and often superior—reach, capability, and candidates as any high-street agency, while retaining the capital needed to scale your engineering operations in Leicestershire.
