The End of the 20% Agency Tax for Market Harborough Businesses.

The Broken Mechanics of Traditional Recruitment in Market Harborough

For too long, businesses in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, have been held hostage by an archaic recruitment model. Traditional agencies charge astronomical finder's fees based on a percentage of the candidate's starting salary. This outdated system incentivizes recruiters to push for higher salaries while providing no additional value, alignment, or quality assurance. When it comes to Digital Marketer Recruitment Market Harborough companies are routinely overpaying for access to local talent databases that should be readily and affordably accessible.

The economic reality of the local market demands a pivot. According to recent regional labor data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) for the East Midlands, the median salary for an experienced Digital Marketer in Leicestershire sits at approximately £38,500. At a standard high-street recruitment agency fee of 20%, local businesses are billed an eye-watering £7,700 for a single placement. We believe this is an unjustifiable tax on growth.
