Eliminate traditional agency fees: Stop paying £14,000+ per DevOps placement (based on a typical 20% commission on a £70,000 salary) and transition to a flat £795 process.
Targeted Leicestershire reach: Leverage programmatic multi-channel campaigns covering Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Loughborough, and Nottingham transit corridors.
Data-driven talent acquisition: Access pre-screened, high-yield active and passive candidates holding certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
The tech landscape in the East Midlands is experiencing a structural shift. According to recent data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and regional labor market insights via NOMIS, tech vacancies in Leicestershire have risen steadily, yet local employers remain constrained by outdated recruitment methodologies. For businesses located in Melton Mowbray, recruiting specialized DevOps Engineers—who bridge the gap between software development and systems operations—presents a unique geographical and economic challenge.
Traditionally, local firms have relied on Leicester- or Nottingham-based contingency recruitment agencies. These traditional agencies charge exorbitant percentage-based fees (often between 15% and 25% of the candidate's first-year salary). With the average salary for a DevOps Engineer in Melton Mowbray currently hovering around £70,000 per annum, employers are forced to pay upwards of £14,000 for a single hire. This standard agency tax is no longer justifiable in an era of automated sourcing and programmatic digital reach.
A closer inspection of regional labor data reveals the inefficiency of the traditional recruitment model:
Traditional recruiters do not possess secret databases. They utilize the same public professional networks, job boards, and search engines that are universally accessible. The only difference is they charge you a premium for acting as a middleman. Our Total Saturation Process bypasses these intermediaries entirely, distributing your vacancy directly to the platforms where high-performance DevOps talent resides.
Melton Mowbray sits in a highly strategic position. While it is known for its food production heritage, its proximity to tech hubs like Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, and Grantham makes it an attractive base for hybrid and remote DevOps professionals. By utilizing a localized targeting framework that spans across the A606, A607, and regional rail networks, VacanCV isolates candidates within a manageable 30-mile commute radius.

The £13,205 saved per hire by choosing VacanCV over a standard agency is capital that can be directly reinvested back into your technical system, hardware, or used to offer more competitive salaries to secure elite candidates. In a highly competitive tech market, having the financial agility to offer a candidate a slightly higher starting salary or a comprehensive training budget—funded by your recruitment savings—gives you an immediate unfair advantage over competitors who are still paying high agency fees.
Our flat-fee system is designed for companies that demand professional-grade hiring outcomes without the inflated costs. Whether you are an established enterprise in Melton Mowbray or a scaling SME looking to build out your first cloud platforms, the math is undeniable. It is time to retire the 20% agency model and embrace precision recruitment.
